2005
What is it?
A 37-minute cardio dance workout, with segments that include a variety of styles. Marie Forleo is the instructor.
Who is it for?
Intermediates who want to work on dance moves and sweat a little will enjoy it. The choreography may be a little too complicated for beginners. All you'll need is a bit of floor space and your dancin' shoes!
What to expect:
This aerobic workout keeps your mind and body busy with short bursts of choreography, from sexy island jams to fun, funky moves. Instructor Marie Forleo never spends more than five minutes on a set of steps, just enough for you to get the moves down and run through them a few times — then you're off to the next routine. The steps aren't too hard, especially if you do any recreational dancing, although the pace at which they're taught may challenge beginners. Forleo's low impact choreography is stylish without being intimidating and will work up a light sweat (it'll raise your heart rate but won't leave you completely breathless). It may take a few tries to get the arm and foot work completely coordinated, but learning the steps is part of the fun of this workout — and you'll also be able to take some of these moves to the dance floor.
