Walk It Off With George: Circuit Walk(GoodTimes) 2004 What is it? A half-hour walking workout that adds a few lower-body toning segments. George Foreman is featured and Petra Kolber instructs. Who is it for? Beginning exercisers. Most couch potatoes will be able to do this, but if you are really out of shape, the addition of squats and lunges may challenge you... and that is not necessarily a bad thing!
What to expect: For those who have a hard time getting off the couch and into an exercise routine, walking workouts are a great start. They get you moving without adding complicated steps or making you work so hard that you never want to see the DVD again. This half-hour routine — part of George Foreman's "Walk It Off With George" series — ramps up the intensity just a notch by adding a few short lower-body toning segments. But don't worry, you aren't expected to kill yourself doing these simple squats and lunges. This isn't boot camp. You are encouraged to work within your range and level of comfort. George mostly adds encouragement and his likeable spirit. The actual instruction is done by veteran fitness pro Petra Kolber. Kolber's approach is a little more lively and uptempo than some other walking workout instructors, but she still keeps things simple so that anyone can follow along. If you want to start adding just a little bit of toning to your walking cardio routine, this one's a good place to begin. Other exercise DVDs you may like: |
