What is it?
A 40-minute cardio dance workout featuring Afro/ Latin and Reggae/ Funk moves. Marie Forleo instructs. Spanish audio track included!
Who is it for?
Beginning through intermediate exercisers. The steps are fun, and easy enough for many beginners (although having a flair for rhythm and dance certainly helps). This DVD also gets intermediates' heart rates up enough for them to use it on lighter days without feeling like they're slacking off.
What to expect:
Here's a cardio dance workout from Prevention that offers something a little out of the ordinary. After a 7-minute warm-up, Marie Forleo leads you through two low-impact, 15-minute workouts, each one with its own style. The Afro/ Latin workout offers sexy, upbeat moves and the Reggae/ Funk routine includes cool steps that are surprisingly sweat inducing. You end with a few minutes of stretching and cooling down. Forleo is a great instructor — she breaks down the choreography and makes it easy to learn, along with just being a fun, friendly presence. You'll have such a good time with this cardio dance DVD that you'll forget you're working out. Even better for Spanish-speaking exercisers, there's an audio track option en Español. If you're tired of the same old cardio, these two routines will be a breath of fresh air.
