Who is it for?
This is a great DVD for beginning exercisers, since all the workouts you need are here. Intermediate and advanced exercisers may find this a little too easy — or may want to use it for lighter days. You’ll need a mat and two sets of 3–5 pound dumbbells (beginners can probably get by with one pair; more advanced exercisers may want to go heavier).

What to expect:
If you want to get in shape, but you’re having a hard time organizing an exercise routine, this DVD will make it easy for you. You can mix and match these segments any way you want. There are two 13-minute cardio routines, one lower impact and the second more intense; a 10-minute full body toning workout; and 4 5-minute targeted strength training workouts, one each for the lower body; abs; chest and back; and arms and shoulders. There are also warm-up and cool down segments. You can program these any way you want (although it’s always recommended to start with the warm-up and finish with the cool down). You can also choose to go by the enclosed pamphlet, which has suggested routines for different goals (“Get Firm,” “Flatten Your Belly,” “Lose Weight,” etc.). Chris Freytag puts together some creative exercise combos and keeps the energy up. Easier modifications are also shown. This DVD is best for beginning exercisers — the brevity of the segments make them a little too easy for more experienced exercisers. (That said, you can program the same segment more than once so you can get more of a workout.) With Freytag’s solid instruction and routines that exercise every part of your body, it’s hard to go wrong with this DVD.
