What is it?
A 28-minute, 4-part workout that primarily targets the abs. Violet Zaki is the instructor.
Who is it for?
Advanced beginning to intermediate exercisers. You will need one dumbbell (3 to 8 lbs.), a stability ball
and a mat.

What to expect:
When you want to shape your abs, what’s the best type of exercise? Pilates? Stability ball exercises? Yoga? Something else altogether? In under a half an hour, this workout gives you all of the above! After a quick warm-up, instructor Violet Zaki leads you though a series of standing ab exercises that use one dumbbell. The second segment focuses on stability ball moves. On segment number 3, Zaki offers up some Pilates-based moves, and finishing up are a Yoga-based abs routine and a cool down. Because there are such a variety of exercise styles, you never have time to get bored (and you can also do each segment separately whenever you’ve got a few minutes to, ahem, burn). While this isn’t the most intense abs workout (if you want intense, try Michael Olajide’s Killer Abs DVD),
you will feel it, and the exercises will work, providing you do them regularly (meaning a couple times a week — not a couple times a month!). Included is a 4-minute bonus "cardio" workout — you can run through it a couple of times before the ab routine to warm up, but that’s about all it’s good for. The abs are definitely the main attraction on this DVD.
