Sara Ivanhoe's 20 Min. Yoga Makeover: Power Beauty Sweat(Natural Journeys) 2004 What is it? A 20-minute Yoga routine, led by Sara Ivanhoe, meant to detoxify and energize. Who is it for? All levels of Yoga enthusiasts, although it will probably be too challenging for those who are new to the practice. You will need a mat... but you undoubtedly already have one.
What to expect: While there's nothing quite as uplifting as a good hour to hour-and-a-half Yoga session, it is possible to fit a nice series of poses into a brief routine. Sara Ivanhoe has developed a series of 20-minute Yoga sessions, and this one includes a variety of twists and Vinyasas (moving Yoga poses). While it starts off easy, with simple seated twists and stretching, it soon becomes more challenging with poses like Dolphin and Eagle, and you do spend some quality time in Chair, too. In spite of the promise of the title and the box description, you won't sweat excessively in this routine — while many of the moves flow, this is not Power Yoga. You will, however, feel like you've stretched out, built some strength and enhanced your wellbeing. If you want to squeeze a Yoga session into a small pocket of time, this is an excellent workout (as are the other 4 volumes in the set). To order the 20 Min.
