What is it?
A 20-minute Yoga routine, led by Sara Ivanhoe, geared towards fat burning and weight loss.
Who is it for?
All levels of Yoga enthusiasts, although it will probably be too challenging for those who are new to the practice. You will need a mat... but you undoubtedly already have one.
What to expect:
In just 20 minutes, Sara Ivanhoe offers up a Vinyasa-based Yoga routine that builds heat, flexibility and even a bit of strength. Except for a brief stretch and ending Mudra (hand posture), Ivanhoe keeps you on your feet for a series of standing poses that include Downward Facing Dog, Triangle, Warrior II, Crescent and the like. There are also a number of twisting poses that'll do your spine and digestive system good. You are moving throughout these poses, which often challenges your balance along with building heat. It's a fast-paced 20 minutes, and an enjoyable routine. Will it really help you lose weight? Well, combined with a sensible eating program and a varied program of regular exercise, it probably will but it can't work wonders all by itself. Nevertheless, this is a solid, flowing Yoga session for those who don't have the time to fit in a full hour to an hour and a half routine.
