What is it?
Two 35-minute Yoga routines, one energizing, one cooling, plus two bonus workouts — a 10-minute "Stress Recess" and a "Chi for Two" couples' session. Hemalayaa Behl instructs.
Who is it for?
Advanced beginning to intermediate Yoga enthusiasts. You don't really have to be young to do these routines, just familiar with Yoga postures and in fairly good shape. You will just need a sticky mat — no props.
What to expect:
This is not your average Hatha Yoga. Hemalayaa Behl has put together a flowing blend of traditional and Taoist Yoga moves, pranayama and mudras that make this DVD stand out from other Yoga workouts. There are two 35-minute routines: "Chakra Shaker" is an invigorating segment that includes Yogic hops, Sun Salutations and breathing to wake up your body. "Chill Vibe" is a more introspective mat routine that includes stress-releasing inversions. The two bonus routines are a "Stress Recess" that is both relaxing and energizing, and "Chi for Two" — seven poses that you do with a partner. If you're a little tired of the same vinyasas and poses contained on the majority of Yoga DVDs, this one will be a welcome change.
