What is it?
A 50-minute Power Yoga routine from Baron Baptiste.
Who is it for?
Intermediate Yoga enthusiasts — you need to have developed a certain amount of strength and familiarity with the poses to get the most out of this workout.

What to expect:
Baron Baptiste slows down his Power Yoga flow just a bit for this moderately challenging routine. It’s a good session for those with some experience, but who are just beginning to consider themselves on the intermediate level. Baptiste’s instruction is thorough and informative — he often explains the benefits of the pose his models are demonstrating, and he will often have a model show a modified version of a pose. Like many Yoga routines taught by men, this one gives the upper body quite a workout (something many women need more than they realize), and he also has a segment on the mat that focuses intensely on the core muscles. This a very straightforward routine — it begins with Sun Salutations, continues on the mat and ends with a sitting relaxation instead of the usual Corpse pose. There are no fancy, complex moves and Baptiste doesn’t spout off tongue-twisting Sanskrit words or mention any of the more mystical or spiritual elements of Yoga. It’s a routine to strengthen the body, still the mind and revitalize the spirit, nothing more. And really, isn’t that quite enough?
